Happppy Monday! I hope you guys had a killer weekend! I spent mine catching up after a super fun week in LA and getting ready to spend next week there too! LA is super easy to get to from San Diego (if you leave at the right time otherwise traffic is the worst you’ve ever seen) and has become like a second home because I’m there so much and have all my fave things to do that I look forward to! Here’s my hit list:
FOR DATE NIGHT: Pace, Matsuhisa
FOR DINNER WITH FRIENDS: Laurel Hardware, Eveleigh, Sugarfish
FOR DRINKS: Ysabel
FOR A WORK MEETING: Soho House,
FOR A GIRLS LUNCH: Fig + Olive
FOR A GIRLS NIGHT: Chateau Marmont, Soho House
FOR SHOPPING: All the shops on Melrose Place and the cool, eclectic boutiques on Abbot Kinney
FOR BREAKFAST/BRUNCH: Joan’s on Third, FIG, Bottega Louie
PEOPLE WATCHING: Equinox, Rodeo Drive, Whole Foods 🙂
FOR A WORKOUT: Hike Runyon Canyon, Soul Cycle (although my friend Callie just told me about Cycle House so trying that next!!), Pure Barre
This suitcase is my everything for short trips and fits a freakish amount of stuff. Shorts here, shoes here, and bag here!
The Sunset Marquis is the perfect balance of private, cool, quiet, and happening. I love staying there and can work for hours in the restaurant overlooking the garden with a glass of wine in the most content state.
True Food Kitchen – a fave in San Diego and a fave in LA
Sushi dinner at Katsuya with my beautiful friend Jordan, AKA The Balanced Blonde, who is reason enough to spend half my time in LA
Brunches at Joan’s on Third after sweaty Runyon hikes
An innocent lunch on Melrose at Fig + Olive with my beauties Sophie and Callie can result in not so innocent shopping on Melrose at my holy place…Isabel Marant…
Isabel Marant sandals
Never dissapointing beef tartare and salmon at BOA
My standard room service brekky that you all know and love by now 🙂
Since I love to mix it up, tell me, what are your fave LA gems?
